ALBUM THOUGHTS! Zara Larsson's "So Good"

HEY ALL! HOW'S YOUR DAY SO FAR? I HOPE EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SO GOOD SO FAR!

Nahhhh that was just my lame attempt at a joke OKAY HAHAHAHAHA I AM SO SORRY

Okay, okay! I'll stop with the jokes, relax with the pitchforks, everyone! I would really like to crack up another one, but I'm afraid y'all might go full-on crying mode if I don't stop.

So, what I have here would be album thoughts! Surprise, surprise! It was supposed to be an album review, but I found myself putting my thoughts about it instead of critiquing the album like those people on Billboard and Rolling Stones get at LMAO but you know, some people aren't born for that. Besides, writing this was hardly formal.

I'm going to tell you guys exactly what I think about Zara Larsson's album, "So Good"!

A post shared by Zara Larsson (@zaralarsson) on

(She's actually one of my Instagram kweens)

Honestly, I really had no plans whatsoever to write thoughts about an album today, but gethis: I was scrolling around on Spotify, like, just browsing for new ear candy, when I suddenly thought: "Maybe I should give Ain't My Fault a listen?" I mean, the beat is s i c k, and I've been stalking Zara Larsson on Instagram for a while, so I puthe song on replay. After five plays, I got bored with the song (maybe it's because I play the song one too many times? Ahahaha) but I didn't really feel like listening to any other artist or going music-less. I then checked out her artist page and remembered that her new album was already out.

     Wooooow, good job, Jules. πŸ˜’😒😒

I decided to give her album a play. Now, what do I think of it? Well, here are all the details:

*drum roll please*

TRACK LIST
FEATURING THOUGHTS ON EACH SONG

1. What They Say (03:38)
think this song would be the "for motivation" song that every artist needs to put in their album. A song like this having such positive lyrics, and it being the first song on the album, I was pleasantly surprised! Most other artists would put a flashy song; not necessarily the lead single but still flashy, as the firstrack on their albums, but not Zara.

I must say, she started the game with the right mood.

2. Lush Life (03:21)
I'm actually laughing because the lyrics are so relatable! It's like, if I'd like to say "YOU WASTED ME YOU WASTED ME YOU WASTED ME LMAO" out loud without calling too much attention, this would be the song I'd play.

Song-wise comments, the beat is really, really catchy! I remember dancing to this in the car loads of times.

3. I Would Like (03:47)
I'M STILL LAUGHING HAHAHAHAHA THE FIRST LINES GOT ME SO BAD

I didn't know that I could want you so deep

Until I saw you with someone who's not me

Anyways, the beat is real good and it's catchy too.

4. So Good (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) (02:47)
πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

I'm getting all the good vibes from this song I just had to play this twice. Zara's vocals are, as usual, superb.

5. TG4M (02:53)
It sounds like something they'd play at Forever 21. The song was written nicely, too. Taggable? Yes. Hahaha!

6. Only You (03:42)
I don't know about other people, but the intro sounded like something from a Kylie Cosmetics ad. When I looked up the lyrics, I couldn't contain my laughter anymore. It's DEFINITELY like something coming from Kylie Jenner *cough* the video with Tyga *cough*

I have nothing against Kylie, I swear, but this song just reminded me so much of her antics that I just couldn't help myself πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ peace, guys!

// the stuff you see on tv wew

7. Never Forget You (03:33
YESSSSS THIS WAS MY JAM LAST SUMMER! I remember hearing this on Spotify for the first time and my eyes going big, thinking "Okay okay o k a y chill, I have to add this into my playlist."

8. Sundown (feat. Wizkid) (03:26)
There was a song on my mind at the beginning of the song (*cough* HIPS DON'T LIE *cough*), but Sundown proved to be different from Shakira's song.

9. Don’t Let Me Be Yours (03:19)
I know, I know, I know that you can tell
That we're more than friends
And it's not just in our heads

WHY ZARA WHY MUST YOU T R I G G E R ME LIKE THIS ASDFGHJKL

10. Make That Money Girl (03:19)
YASSSSSS KWEEN! A song about female empowerment!

11. Ain't My Fault (03:44
AAAAAAAAAAHHHH THIS SONG HAS BEEN MY JAM SINCE OCTOBER AND I DON'T THINK IT REALLY EVER STOPPED ASDFGHJKL I mean, I even put it on this month's playlist! Zara's vocals are s u p e r b and the beat is real siiiiiick like damnnnnnn girl slay slay slay.

I'm so sorry I'm not making any sense HAHAHAHAHA this has really been one of my favorite songs for a while and it's not going away!

12. One Mississippi (explicit) (03:08)
I like the way it burns when you say goodbye
I like the way it hurts when you screw with my mind

There she goes again, messing me with her lyrics.

Anyway, this song is surprisingly softer, but Zara's vocal prowess still shows. Overall, I liked it.

13. Funeral (03:36
Funny how the song is titled "Funeral" but it sounds so upbeat. I'm still wowed by Zara's voice agggghhhhh. It really sounds like something I'd want to sing out loud, even though I'm sure my voice will crack at the notes! Hahahaha! It's chill, though, one will go through many lengths to get a message out.

14. I Can't Fall In Love Without You (explicit) (03:01)
This is a v e r y chill song, a break from all of Zara's super high notes. Not exactly a love song, but not your heartbreak song, either. It's still something I want to sing out loud, though. One of those "lyrics I'd like to copy and paste into a chat head then hit backspace right afterwards".

15. Clean Bandit - Symphony (ft. Zara Larsson) (03:35)
I really love this song. I'm surprised I don't hear it in the radio at that much. It's so catchy and dancey, and it's really surprising how it's not in the waves.

Meaaaanwhile, people overplay "Versace On The Floor" and "Shape Of You".

Don't get me wrong, I love those songs, but I hear it waaaaay too much nowadays.

Says she who overplays "Ain't My Fault", "Chill Bill" and Lorde's songs.

I'll just go ahead now.

FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall, the album was so good to my ears.

WORTH $9.99?
Actually, yeah. It's ear candy. I approve.

WOULD I BUY?
I would like to. Really.

Here's the album on Spotify if you're curious.

So, yeah, I guess that's all for now!

(p.s. RIP because I'm pretty sure I made one too many jokes. Hahahaha!)
